City of Manchester Seeking Applicants for Library Director
The City of Manchester is seeking applicants for the position of Library Director.
The Library Director monitors, coordinates and supervises the operation of the Manchester Public Library and is responsible for planning, policies, procedures, fiscal management, collection development, maintenance of the physical facility, social media and computer technology, and personnel. Outstanding oral and written communication skills necessary. Director works closely with the Board of Trustees and City Council. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Master’s Degree in Library Science preferred. Candidate must have State Library of Iowa Public Library Director Certification or have ability to obtain certification within two-years of appointment. Salary range dependent upon qualifications.
