Coronavirus Response & Actions

The City of Manchester recognizes there is an expanding global outbreak of a respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus. The disease the virus causes has been named COVID-19. The Mayor, City Manager, and representatives from the Police and Fire departments remind the business community and public to take proper COVID-19 precautions.

The Iowa Department of Public Health, along with Governor Reynolds, is asking people to #StepUpMaskUpIA. It is important for Iowans to be aware of how to prevent the spread of COVID-19. For the most current information about the COVID-19 situation in Iowa please check with the Iowa Department of Public Health website.

The City Office remains open to the public. We are closely monitoring developments in connection with Coronavirus, and we are taking proactive measures to support the health and welfare of our employees, customers and our community. Our hours of operation remain the same: 8:00am until 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Residents are encouraged to make payments online, by phone, via the dropbox or US Mail. If you prefer to pay your bill in person, please place your payment in the Dropbox located west of the front door of City Hall.
