Nice Neighbor Award
In 2004 Mayor Milt Kramer and the Manchester City Council launched the “Nice Neighbor Award.” The award was established to recognize the spirit of compassion citizens of Manchester have for their neighbors and for other citizens in Manchester. The award offers a public forum to thank neighbors; even for the smallest things. Award winners are invited to a City Council meeting to be recognized and presented with a Nice Neighbor Plaque. Winners are also noted on the City’s website and in the City Newsletter.
