Scott DL

July 6th, 2023

Scott DL was born and raised in the American Midwest but the music that caught his ear and imagination from a very early age came from Britain. A lifetime in music has given him a chance to tour the United States, release seven CDs of his own music, and show others the joy of expressing the music that is already inside them. In 2018, he relocated to Britain to expand his musical horizons across the Atlantic. While living in the U.K. Scott played many shows as a soloist and led The Scott DL Band, an international lineup made up of Scott DL ( American)- guitars /vocals, Peter Nemesvari (Hungarian)- keyboards, and the (British) rhythm section of Paul Arthurs- drums and Mark Nye- bass. Scott built a recording studio (Crackerbox Studio) in Cheltenham, England , served as music mentor for Balcarras Academy in Cheltenham and released 2 singles on Spotify as " Enlightenment Saloon" with longtime friend and musical collaborator, lyricist D.E. Pals before returning to the U.S. in July 2021. Currently he is dividing his time between performances, teaching music, writing and recording new music for Enlightenment Saloon, and building a new recording studio in the pastoral setting in his home state of Iowa.

In October 2023, Scott released his newest cd of original music entitled “Scott DL’s Enlightenment Saloon” which is a mixture of several genres. He is also part of a six piece country band, “Lori Gravel and The Timber City Ramblers.”

The Anderegg Family

August 3rd, 2023

The Anderegg Family makes their home in NE Iowa by the small town of Ryan. The family developed a love for bluegrass music after attending several festivals when the kids were little. They play bluegrass and gospel along with some old time classic country music. The band consists of Evan on guitar, Graham on banjo, Nathan on mandolin and bass, Jillian on fiddle, with parents Kipp on resophonic guitar and Susan on bass.

Over Memorial Day weekend last spring the family band traveled to Branson where the siblings were involved in the KSMU Youth in Bluegrass Band Contest at Silver Dollar City.  They were honored to be in this national contest with other youth from as far as North Carolina to California. The Anderegg Family took 2nd Place in the contest.

The Anderegg Family enjoys playing for churches, care facilities, town celebrations, private events, opera houses, and at festivals
