City Administration

The Administration Department consists of the Mayor, City Manager, City Clerk, Deputy City Clerk/Human Resources and Deputy City Clerk. Peters & Longmuir, PLC serves as City Attorney.

The administration department works to ensure a strong financial foundation for the City of Manchester and its residents by implementing the policy decisions made by the Mayor and City Council.

Responsibilities include coordinating City departments, operations, and programs, preparing the city's budget, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, utility billing, payroll, preparing council agendas and meeting notices, maintaining public records, processing licenses and permits, ensuring adherence to City laws and contracts, handling citizens inquiries and service requests, and staying abreast of state and federal legislation.
