Parks, Recreation, and Culture
The Manchester Parks & Recreation Department currently maintains 7 parks including the Kramer Aquatic Center and several bikeway/walkway trails. The bikeway/walkway trails are open for use year round as snow is removed from the trail during winter months. The Kramer Aquatic Center is generally open Memorial Day through mid-August. Features of the Aquatic Center include 3 water slides, a diving board, zero-depth entry, spray fountains, sand volleyball, a sunbathing area and concessions. The Parks & Recreation Department also plans and manages a wide range of recreation programs for all age groups, from preschoolers to active older adults. Registration forms are available online for many of the programs and activities. Please call Parks & Recreation Doug Foley at (563) 927-1118 for the latest program information.
