ELECTRONICS & HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE CLEAN-UP DAY SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

The Electronics & Household Hazardous Waste Clean-up Day will be at the Delaware County Fairgrounds on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 8:00AM – 12:00PM. There is no charge for bringing acceptable items to the clean-up day.

 

Acceptable items include: computers, monitors, printers/scanners, TV’s, laptops, small kitchen appliances, video players, cords, cables, networking equipment, and household hazardous waste including latex & oil based paint, household cleaners, motor oil/oil filters, old gasoline, residential fertilizers/pesticides, aerosol cans, antifreeze, household fluorescent bulbs, CFL’s, mercury bulbs, halogen bulbs, sharps ( in rigid, sealed containers), rechargeable batteries, and ink/toner cartridges.

 

Items NOT ACCEPTED include: farm chemicals, business chemicals/waste, ammunition/explosives, Diethyl ether, ether, and picrin acid. NO APPLIANCES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

This clean-up day is only for residents of Delaware County, Strawberry Point, Edgewood, Dyersville & Coggon. 

This event is sponsored by the Delaware County Solid Waste Commission in partnership with the Dubuque Metropolitan Area Solid Waste Agency.
